Meet Floyd

Floyd served for many years with Avant Ministries alongside his wife, Amy, in what they fondly called their “retirement” ministry. Each year, they led work- and ministry-related teams to Ecuador, often focused on medical and construction projects while serving local churches. Floyd and Amy were involved in directing teams, translating, teaching, counseling, and encouraging believers.

At home in Minnesota, they invested in the lives of international students by opening their home for meals and small-group Bible studies. Floyd continues to serve faithfully, carrying on the ministry they shared and remaining active in his local church and in area mission efforts.
