Meet Stu & Cristina
After 17 years planting churches in Mexico City, Stu and Cristina Grewatz moved to Puebla in 2015 to help mobilize Mexico for missions. Their vision is to see a growing missions movement, equipping Mexican believers and churches to send workers to the least-reached peoples around the world.
Based in Puebla, they invest in developing future missionaries through mentoring, Bible training, and hands-on ministry at the Puebla Bible Seminary. They also lead initiatives like the Summer Missionary Project, where dozens of young people are equipped each year for evangelism and outreach, and promote efforts like Impact 316, helping mobilize workers to unreached ethnic groups in Mexico and beyond.
Stu and Cristina partner with Avant Ministries in this work. They have two married children—Erica and her husband Sam, along with their son Micah, and Daniel, who serves as a co-pastor in Hawaii with his wife, Belle.
